Is it time to certify your ULA?

Is it time to certify your ULA?

A ULA or Unlimited Licence Agreement gives you the right to unlimited deployment of several pre-agreed products over a specified time period.

At the end of the defined period, usually three years, you must declare what you have deployed and assuming Oracle agrees with your figures the licences will become perpetual.

The support cost is fixed at the start of the agreement and not calculated at the end of the agreement, based on what you deploy, so it doesn’t make any difference how many you declare.

However, you do need to make sure you are accurately reporting the quantities of each product to Oracle.

  • Are you due to certify or declare to Oracle this year?
  • Have you decided whether to certify or declare or just extend the ULA?
  • Do you know how much you are using?
  • Do you need help?

Madora is experienced in helping customers understand what they are using, what the value of the ULA will be and whether to certify or extend, so let us know if you would like to discuss what needs to be done and how we can ensure you get the best value and the best outcome. Contact us here
